Fall 2019 Session 1

Adult Tap Dance - Level 1

Dates: Thursdays, Sept. 12-Nov. 7 (No class 10/31)

Time: 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Location: SSCC Dance Studio

Instructor: Beth Rominger

 

This class is designed for beginners and/or those with limited tap experience who would like to develop or advance their mastery of basic tap skills. The class will meet for one hour on eight Thursdays. Students must be at least 16 years of age. Register online or by phone at 205.391.2277.

Adult Tap Dance - Level 2

Dates: Thursdays, Sept. 12-Nov. 7 (No class 10/31)

Time: 7:15 p.m.-8:15 p.m.

Location: SSCC Dance Studio

Instructor: Beth Rominger

 

This class is designed for those who have completed our beginning or level 1 tap course or who have a mastery of basic tap skills and wish to advance their experience with a variety of tap styles. The class will meet for one hour on eight Thursdays. Students must be at least 16 years of age. Register online or by phone at 205.391.2277.

Fall 2019 Session 2

Intermediate Improv: Scene Work

Dates: Mondays, Oct. 21-Nov. 25

Time: 7:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

Location: SSCC Dance Studio

 

This class is a six-week workshop in which students who have completed "Basic Improv" will take their learning to the next level. Students learn the skills crucial to scene work, including emotion, listening, and transformation, as well as continuing to hone skills learned in Basic Improv. Mastering Improv

Dates: Tuesays, Oct. 22-Nov. 26

Time: 7:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

Location: SSCC Dance Studio

 

This class is for students who have completed Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Improv, and wish to continue honing their improv skills for performance in the areas of Advanced Scene Work, Characters & Environment, and Styles & Genres.  This class is very focused, and students can expect critical feedback needed to grow to the next level. A true commitment is needed to succeed in this class. Students must be at least 16 years of age. Register online or by phone at 205.391.2277.
