Don: quick-witted, charming, slightly cheeky. He is the host of the USO show. He has a big heart. Singing role. Ages 40-65.

Lady Q-Lead singer: She usually works back stage as a dresser, but tonight she’s a star. At times shy but also a force to be reckoned with. Role has been cast.

Jack/Soldier 2: A smart aleck. Comedic. He comes across as a know it all who thinks a lot of himself, but deep down he cares deeply for the other performers. Non-singing role. Ages 40-65.

Mary/Annie: A wry smile, sharp wit, and hard exterior. She is a softy at heart. Singer. Ages 40-65.

Joan/Piper: Frequently scattered. Constantly losing things. She can seem meek or shy off stage but on stage she is confident and poised. Strong singer. Ages 25-40.

Kenny/Soldier 1: Very charming. Warm. Funny without trying to be. He is ambitious and wants to do a good job. Singer. Ages 25-45.

Frederick: He is supposed to be the lead singer of the show but the weather keeps him from getting there on time. He is under the weather and hast taken too much cough syrup. Deep love for Lady Q. Singer. Ages 35-50.

Maxene, Patty, and Judine: Alabama's version of the Andrews Sisters, also part of ensemble. Singers-must be able to hold tight harmony. Some audience interaction required. Must tap. Ages 18-30.

Finley: A young man who gets his big break to sing with the band. Warm, bright and eager. Singer and must tap. Ages 18-30

2 Male Ensemble: Must be able to sing and tap well. Ages 18-30.
