Frequently Asked Questions
How do I bid on items?
Click here to visit our online auction (hosted by 32 Auctions) to see what amazing items we have up for auction. You will need to create an account in order to place your own bid or a proxy bid. We will announce a period of time, usually 3-4 days, in which we will accept bids. During that time, you may place your bid on each item you wish to bid on. At the end of the bidding period, the winning bid will be displayed. We will contact winners via the email address they provided on the website to notify them of the items they won, as well as pick-up and payment options.
What kinds of payments do you take?
Everything! Well, not bitcoin. But everything else! Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted.
How do I get my stuff once I've paid for it?
Easy! You can stop by the Theatre Tuscaloosa ticket office to pick it up. For all smaller items, we can send them to you or someone of your choice (shipping is not included and must be paid separately at cost).
Why should I bid on these items?
Because they are amazing! But also because all proceeds go to help support all of the equally amazing productions and programming here at Theatre Tuscaloosa, including our regular season shows, specially priced school matinee performances, and workshops.
We are now accepting donations for our 2023 Lights, Camera, Auction! Fundraiser. We accept handmade art and crafts, professional services, gift certificates for unique experiences, and much, much more! Deadline for donations to be received for the 2023 auction will be March 16, 2023. The auction will be live March 23-26.
Why Donate?
Your service or item will be shared to our more than 4,000 Facebook followers and promoted to more than 6,000 email newsletter subscribers. That's a lot of folks seeing your products and your commitment to supporting Tuscaloosa's local non-profit arts scene!
If you would like to donate an item or service to our Lights, Camera, Auction Auction, please complete and submit a pledge form (either online or download/print using the buttons below) and bring your item or gift certificate to our offices at Shelton State by Thursday, March 16.
All proceeds of the auction will support Theatre Tuscaloosa's mission of providing quality theatrical experiences to the people of West Alabama. Because Theatre Tuscaloosa is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
