About the Course
Level 2 tap class is designed for students who have already completed a Level 1 tap class or have some basic experience and understanding of tap dance fundamentals. In a Level 2 class, the complexity and variety of tap steps and combinations are increased, building upon the foundation established in the previous level. The focus shifts from basic steps to more intricate rhythms, footwork, and musicality.
NOTE: Class will not meet on Monday, September 7, due to the Labor Day Holiday.

Allison East
Allison East has been taking ballet, tap, and other types of dance since age 3 and ballroom for over 20 years. She grew up in Montgomery, went to school in Birmingham and Mississippi, and spent 18 years in east Tennessee before retiring to Tuscaloosa in January to be closer to family. She is an instructor with the Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre and has performed with the Alabama Shakespeare Project (Law Against Lovers) and the Actor's Charitable Theatre (Young Frankenstein) since moving to the area.
