About the Course
Ballroom and partner dances are useful in the theatre/performing as well as real world situations like weddings and music events! We will learn basic steps of the waltz, swing dance, tango, and more, in this fun introduction to social dancing. No previous dancing experience is needed, and a partner is helpful (and a fun date night!) but not essential to participate. This course is for ages 16-adult.
NOTE: No class will be held on November 11 due to the Veteran's Day holiday.

Allison East
Allison East has been taking ballet, tap, and other types of dance since age 3 and ballroom for over 20 years. She grew up in Montgomery, went to school in Birmingham and Mississippi, and spent 18 years in east Tennessee before retiring to Tuscaloosa in January to be closer to family. She is an instructor with the Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre and has performed with the Alabama Shakespeare Project (Law Against Lovers) and the Actor's Charitable Theatre (Young Frankenstein) since moving to the area.
