ACTFest Presenting Companies

Each of the following companies will present a 60-minute (max) cutting of a full-length play or musical or a one-act play. The rules of the festival require that they must fit all of their scenery and props into a 10'x10' square off-stage. Companies have 10 minutes to set-up immediately before their performances, a maximum of 60 minutes to perform, and 10 minutes to break-down their scenery and return it to the 10'x10' square. Immediately following each performance, three experienced adjudicators from out of state will give a response to the company members, to which audience members are allowed to listen.

Following the final performance, the adjudicators will select up to two companies to advance to the Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) Community Theatre Festival (February 26-March 1, 2020, in Louisville, KY) where they will represent Alabama as performances from seven southeastern states are presented.
